Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-03
This site (the "Site") is operated in connection with AccessibleDocs Kit ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices. The Site has no user accounts.
Information we collect
- Purchase information. Checkout is processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details. When a payment completes, Stripe tells us about the order. We store the email address you used at checkout, the amount paid and the order ID in our own database, together with the delivery status of your download. We use this to deliver the kit, answer support requests, process refunds and meet bookkeeping requirements.
- Email signups. If you submit an email address on the site (for example the free EAA checklist or the optional report email on the scanner), we store the address, the page you signed up from, and the time. We first send one confirmation email. Only after you confirm do we send the checklist and a short series of follow-up emails. If you never confirm, we send nothing more. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- Visit counts. The site counts page views and a few actions (a scan run, a click on a buy button, a view of a download page) as daily totals per page. These counts store the date, the type of event and the page path. They do not store your IP address, a user agent, a cookie or any identifier, so they cannot be tied to you.
- Free scanner. The URL you enter is sent to our scanner, which runs on Cloudflare, so it can load that page and run the check.
- Other free tools. The accessibility statement generator and EAA checker run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to our servers.
How we use information
We use this information to deliver your purchase, send the emails you asked for, respond to support requests, process refunds, and understand overall site usage.
Service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run the site: Stripe (payments), Resend (sends our emails, so it handles your email address), and Cloudflare (hosting, the scanner and our database). We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
Stripe keeps its own payment records under its retention policy. Our own purchase records (email address, amount, order ID) are kept for as long as we need them for support, refunds and accounting or tax requirements. We do not delete them automatically. To ask for deletion of your purchase record, email [email protected]; we will delete what we are not required to keep for bookkeeping. Email signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Daily visit counts contain no personal data.
Unsubscribing
Use the unsubscribe link in any email from us. It takes effect right away. You can also email [email protected] and ask us to delete your address.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR and applicable US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected].
Cookies and third-party analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. That is why there is no cookie banner.
Children's privacy
This Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
